Lake Superior is the largest of the Great Lakes in North America.

Lake Ontario is bordered by Minnesota in the North and West, and Wisconsin and Michigan to the South.

Featuring Lake Superior is the largest freshwater lake in the world in terms of surface area.

And the third largest freshwater lake in the world by volume, and the largest by volume in North America.

Lake Superior area 31, 700 square kilometres (82103 km2), and is nearly the size of South Carolina.

It has a maximum length of 350 statute miles (560 km) and a maximum width of 160 the statute mile (257 km).

The average depth is 483 feet (147 m) with a maximum depth of 1,332 feet (406 m), and it contains 2, 900 cubic miles (12, 100 km ³) of water.

There is enough water in Lake Superior to cover the entire land mass of North and South America with nearly one foot (30 cm) of water.

The shoreline of the Lake stretches 2, 726 miles (4, 387 km) (including the Islands).

The annual storms on Lake Superior regularly record wave of more than 20 feet (6 m), the waves more than 30 feet (9 meters).

The Lake is fed by over 200 rivers, including the river nibgon, and the St. Louis River, and the river Dove, River Peck, White River.
